Beyond Renewables: Rediscovering Renewable Energy By Tapping the Zero Point
Author: Paddy Leckie
Keywords: Zero Point Energy; non-conventional energy; renewable energy; sustainable energy
Language: English

Description
An academic critique of the dominant discourse on energy options, which proposes that neither fossil fuels or conventionally championed alternatives are feasible. This lack of feasibility is a combination of environmental, political, economic and social dynamics that constrain ecologically and socially equitable energy implementation action. Suggestions for investigating overlooked 'non-conventional' alternatives, such as Zero Point Energy, are made, and some ramifications of its development are outlined.
